Delighting moves in quiet layers. Wax, house paint, oil stick, and acrylic soften into one another, forming a surface that feels suspended in time. The palette unfolds in shades of rivergrass, pale jade, and stone. Greens that recall submerged banks and softened light.
Light arrives gently. It filters across the surface like water catching sun—diffuse, dappled, never harsh. It lingers over forms that drift without urgency. Shadows breathe along the edges.
This piece carries the sense that something is being shaped in the unseen. A slow and steady forming beneath still water.
It is a soft turning toward what is already becoming.

The ocean has always been a place I return to—visually, emotionally, spiritually. It’s where memory softens and feeling begins to blur. These pieces aren’t about the surface, but about what stirs beneath it. Fragments of something known, but not fully held. Through texture, tone, and repetition, I’m searching for what can’t be said—only felt. Each piece in the Silver Swims series is a kind of prayer. An offering. A quiet place to return to. An invitation into stillness, presence, and communion.
