In addition to Yanetsko’s, widely known aerial view depictions of figures adrift in “Other Ocean,” this exhibition takes us deeper with new work exploring subjects beneath the surface, contrasting light and perception with a powerful resonance. Together, these works imbue both night –dark as the endless immensity of the sea– and a determined resolve for light; a mesmerizing conceptualization that invites the viewer to contemplate impermanence.
