ABOUT THE WORK
A soft world of color—subtle, shifting, and submerged. This piece moves like memory: blurred at the edges, familiar yet elusive. Muted tones of dune, olive smoke, and pale bronze drift across the surface like glistening forms beneath still water.
Inspired by a distant recollection of a childhood koi pond, the painting carries with it the weightlessness of dreams and the quiet pull of something remembered. As the forms slip in and out of view, so too do the fragments of feeling—part memory, part imagination.
There’s a sense of being drawn inward. A moment suspended. A place once known, or perhaps only dreamed.
